6. Independent Business

Hostwover operates under its own brand.

Hostwover is not Hostinger and should not be understood as a division, affiliate, subsidiary, or representative of Hostinger merely because certain Hostwover services may be similar to services offered by other hosting companies.

7. Service Model

Hostwover may provide Services:

  • directly.
  • through Hostwover-controlled systems.
  • through third-party infrastructure.
  • as a reseller.

  • policies.

Underlying provider terms may also apply where required.

DOMAIN SERVICES

Hostwover provides domain-registration and related services through an upstream domain-registration supply chain.

Depending on the domain extension, the registration may involve:

  • Hostwover.
  • an upstream reseller platform.
  • a Sponsoring Registrar.
  • a registry; and
  • applicable domain-governance organizations.

13. Hostwover's Domain Role

Unless Hostwover expressly publishes verified information establishing otherwise, Hostwover should be understood as providing domain-registration services as a reseller or intermediary through an applicable registrar, rather than representing itself as the ICANN-accredited registrar.

ICANN describes a reseller as a third-party company offering domain-registration services through a registrar and distinguishes resellers from ICANN-accredited registrars.

14. No ICANN Accreditation Claim

Hostwover does not represent that it is an ICANN-accredited registrar unless Hostwover has actually obtained ICANN accreditation and officially publishes that status.

ICANN distinguishes registrar accreditation from reseller activity.

  • UDRP implementation.
  • registry status changes; and
  • other registrar-controlled operations.

18. Registry Authority

A domain registry controls the applicable top-level-domain registry.

Registry policies may affect:

  • eligibility.
  • registration.
  • renewal.
  • expiration.
  • redemption.
  • premium pricing.
  • disputes.
  • reserved names; and
  • domain availability.

  • official Google representative

unless the particular claim is supported by an actual and current authorization permitting Hostwover to make that representation.

38. Google Trademarks

  • selecting a Service.
  • clicking an acceptance button.
  • submitting an order.
  • paying an invoice.
  • activating a subscription.
  • renewing a Service; or
  • continuing to use a Service after applicable terms become effective.

The legal effect of electronic acceptance remains subject to applicable law.

Egypt's electronic-signature framework recognizes electronic transactions and, where applicable statutory conditions are satisfied, electronic writings and signatures. ITIDA describes Law No. 15 of 2004 as supporting legally viable electronic transactions in Egypt.

58. No Physical Signature Required in Every Case

A physical handwritten signature is not necessarily required for ordinary online contracting where applicable law recognizes the relevant electronic transaction.

Nothing in this section means that every electronic action automatically satisfies specialized signature requirements that may apply to particular legal documents.

59. Order Confirmation

An order is not necessarily accepted merely because a Customer:

  • submits a checkout form.
  • receives a payment authorization.
  • receives an automated acknowledgment; or
  • sees a pending order.

Acceptance may depend on:

  • payment confirmation.
  • fraud screening.
  • eligibility.
  • provider availability.
  • verification.
  • provisioning; and
  • applicable Service requirements.

60. Provisioning

Certain agreements become operational when the relevant Service is successfully:

to the extent required by applicable law.

Where an account is created for an organization, Hostwover may rely on instructions from appropriately authorized account administrators.

Customers consent, where legally permitted, to receive contractual and operational communications electronically.

These may include:

  • order confirmations.
  • renewal notices.
  • security alerts.
  • domain notices.
  • suspension notices.
  • legal updates.
  • support communications; and
  • Service notifications.

64. Customer Contact Information

Customers must maintain current and accurate contact information.

Failure to update contact information may prevent receipt of important notices.

PRICING AND PAYMENTS

65. Pricing

Prices are displayed through:

  • Hostwover product pages.
  • checkout.
  • quotations.
  • invoices; or
  • other authorized Hostwover interfaces.

The applicable order or invoice identifies the currency governing that transaction.

67. Taxes

Prices may be subject to:

  • VAT.
  • withholding requirements.
  • governmental charges.
  • regulatory charges; or
  • other taxes

where legally applicable.

68. Egyptian VAT

Egyptian VAT legislation applies to taxable supplies of goods and services and expressly addresses sales or services rendered through online means. The standard VAT rate under the published Egyptian VAT legislation is 14%, subject to applicable exemptions, special rates, amendments, and the taxpayer's legal obligations.

Hostwover will apply VAT or other taxes only according to the legally applicable tax treatment of the relevant transaction.

73. Automatic Renewal

Certain Services may support automatic renewal.

Where enabled, Hostwover may attempt to collect the applicable renewal amount using an authorized payment method according to the applicable Service terms.

74. Cancellation Versus Refund

Cancelling future renewal does not automatically create a refund for a transaction already completed.

Refund eligibility is governed by the Hostwover Refund Policy.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

75. Consumer Protection

Nothing in Hostwover's legal documents is intended to remove consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

Egypt maintains a consumer-protection framework under Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

76. Business and Consumer Customers

Some Hostwover Customers purchase Services for:

  • commercial.
  • professional.
  • development.
  • organizational; or
  • business purposes.

Certain statutory consumer rights may apply differently depending on the Customer and transaction.

PRIVACY

78. Personal Data

Hostwover processes Personal Data as described in its:

Privacy Policy

and

Privacy & Data Protection Policy.

79. Egyptian Data Protection Framework

Where applicable, Hostwover's handling of Personal Data is subject to relevant Egyptian data-protection requirements.

  • database; and
  • other intellectual-property laws.

Until Hostwover publishes a separate formal legal contact:

Hostwover Support

Email: [email protected]

Website: hostwover.com

may receive general legal communications.

94. Legal Service

Sending a document to ordinary Customer Support does not necessarily constitute valid formal service of legal process where applicable law requires another method.

Formal legal documents must be served according to applicable legal requirements.

95. Court Orders

Hostwover will review apparently valid and binding:

  • court orders.
  • legal processes.
  • regulatory requirements; and

  • network incidents.
  • Customer configuration.
  • cyberattacks.
  • upstream-provider incidents.
  • software issues; and
  • circumstances outside Hostwover's reasonable control.

105. Service Level Agreements

A general marketing statement or Customer Service Policy does not create a formal uptime or response-time guarantee.

Any formal SLA must be expressly identified as a Service Level Agreement or equivalent contractual commitment.

106. Provider SLA

An upstream provider's SLA does not automatically become Hostwover's Customer SLA unless Hostwover expressly incorporates it into the Customer agreement.

107. Service Credits

Where a Hostwover SLA provides service credits, eligibility and calculation are determined under that SLA.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

108. Independent Providers

  • security.
  • product changes.
  • legal requirements.
  • discontinuation.
  • availability; or
  • operational needs.

Applicable Customer rights remain governed by the relevant agreement.

110. Product Discontinuation

  • issue appropriate credits or refunds where applicable; or
  • take another action permitted by the relevant agreement.

111. External Links

Hostwover may link to external websites.

Hostwover is not responsible for independent websites solely because a link appears on hostwover.com.

LEGAL DOCUMENT HIERARCHY

112. Order of Application

A Customer transaction may be governed simultaneously by:

  1. mandatory applicable law.
  2. accepted order or quotation.
  3. product-specific agreement.
  4. Terms of Service.
  5. applicable Hostwover policies.
  6. mandatory Upstream Provider terms; and
  7. applicable external domain or platform rules.

The exact order of precedence may be further specified in the Terms of Service or relevant product agreement.

113. Product-Specific Terms

Where a product-specific agreement contains a more specific provision concerning that Service, the more specific provision generally governs that matter to the extent stated in the applicable agreements.

114. Mandatory Provider Rules

A Hostwover agreement cannot override mandatory technical or contractual restrictions imposed by a provider where Hostwover has no authority to waive those restrictions.

123. Arabic Legal Requirements

Nothing in an English-language document prevents Hostwover from providing Arabic notices or contractual information where required by applicable Egyptian law.

  • registered owner.
  • registered address.
  • tax registration; or

this Legal Information page should be updated accordingly.

131. Change of Trading Name

  • restructuring.
  • merger.
  • asset transfer.
  • acquisition.
  • incorporation.
