For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, the Hostwover contracting entity identified in the applicable Terms of Service or Legal Information page is responsible for Personal Data processed for Hostwover's own purposes.

Depending on the circumstances, Hostwover may act as:

• a Data Controller, where Hostwover determines why and how Personal Data is processed; or
• a Data Processor, where Hostwover processes Personal Data on behalf of a customer according to that customer's instructions.

The applicable role depends on the Service and processing activity.

Hostwover processes Personal Data in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.

Depending on the relevant processing, jurisdiction, and individual, applicable requirements may include:

Hostwover does not represent that every privacy law applies to every customer or every processing activity.

Where mandatory law provides additional rights or safeguards, those requirements will apply to the extent required.

When processing Personal Data, Hostwover seeks to follow principles including:

Lawfulness and Transparency

Personal Data should be processed for legitimate purposes using an appropriate legal basis.

Purpose Limitation

Personal Data should be collected for identified and legitimate purposes and should not be used incompatibly with those purposes.

Data Minimization

We seek to collect only Personal Data reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

Accuracy

We seek to maintain accurate and reasonably current Personal Data.

Storage Limitation

Personal Data should not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for its purpose or applicable legal requirements.

The payment provider may independently process Personal Data according to its own legal obligations and privacy policy.

When you register, transfer, renew, restore, recover, or manage a domain through Hostwover, we may collect and process information required by:

• the applicable Sponsoring Registrar.
• registry operator.
• ICANN.
• applicable domain policies.
• applicable contractual requirements; or
• applicable law.

• registrant name.
• organization.
• email address.
• telephone number.
• postal address.
• country.

• administrative contact information where required.
• technical contact information where required.

• domain-ownership information.

Necessary registration information may be transmitted to the applicable Sponsoring Registrar, applicable registry, escrow providers, domain-service providers, or other parties involved in providing the registration Service.

For generic top-level domains, processing and disclosure of registration data is subject to applicable ICANN Registration Data Policy requirements and related registrar or registry obligations.

Domain-registration information is not necessarily published publicly in full.

Whether particular registration information is collected, redacted, published, made available through registration-data services, or disclosed following a valid request depends on applicable policies, law, registry requirements, and the relevant domain.

You are responsible for providing accurate registration information where required.

When you purchase or use Web Hosting, we may process information including:

• hosting account identifier.
• associated domain.
• hosting plan.
• provisioning information.
• server or environment identifiers.
• IP information.
• usage and resource information.
• technical configuration.
• support information.
• security events.
• backup information where applicable; and
• Service-status information.

Customer-hosted website content may also contain Personal Data belonging to customers or their users.

Where Hostwover processes that information only to provide hosting on behalf of the customer, Hostwover may act as a processor rather than the controller of that information.

When you use Hostwover VPS Services, we may process:

• VPS identifier.
• server configuration.
• IP addresses.
• selected region.
• selected operating system.
• resource allocation.
• network information.
• provisioning information.
• Service status.
• usage information.
• monitoring information.
• backup or recovery information where applicable.

Customers generally control the applications, databases, files, users, and other workloads installed inside their VPS.

Hostwover does not use customer-hosted content for unrelated purposes.

We may process or access information where reasonably necessary to operate the Service, provide requested support, investigate security incidents or abuse, comply with law, or protect our infrastructure and users.

For VDS Services, we may process similar infrastructure and operational data to that described for VPS Services, including:

• Service identifiers.
• resource allocations.
• network information.
• IP information.
• operating-system selections.
• provisioning status.
• infrastructure metadata.
• support information.
• security information.
• usage information; and
• Service status.

Customer-controlled workloads remain subject to the responsibilities described in the applicable VDS Agreement and other Hostwover policies.

When you purchase or manage Professional Email through Hostwover, we may process information necessary to provision and administer the Service, such as:

• domain.
• mailbox address.
• mailbox identifiers.
• selected plan.
• number of mailboxes.
• storage allocation.
• subscription information.
• provisioning status.
• administrative information.
• renewal status; and
• technical configuration.

The underlying email platform may be provided by an authorized third-party provider.

Necessary information may therefore be transmitted to that provider to provision, administer, support, or terminate the Service.

Hostwover does not use the contents of customers' private email communications for unrelated advertising purposes merely because the mailbox Service is purchased through Hostwover.

When you order Google Workspace through Hostwover, we may process information required for provisioning and administration, including:

• customer or organization name.
• administrator information.
• domain name.
• Workspace subscription.
• selected plan.
• number of users.
• subscription status.
• billing information.
• provisioning status.
• domain-verification status; and
• technical information required to manage the subscription.

Necessary information may be transmitted to Google and/or authorized distribution or reseller partners involved in providing the Service.

Use of Google Workspace itself is also subject to the applicable Google terms and privacy documentation.

When you interact with Wover AI or another Hostwover AI-powered feature, we may process:

• prompts.
• questions.
• messages.
• conversation history.
• generated responses.
• feedback.
• files or information intentionally provided through the AI interface.
• relevant Account context.
• relevant Hostwover Service information.
• technical information; and
• usage information.

Where required to generate a response, information may be transmitted to an authorized artificial-intelligence technology provider.

Hostwover seeks to limit information supplied to an AI provider to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant functionality.

You should not intentionally enter:

• passwords.
• private keys.
• complete payment-card information.
• CVV codes.
• authentication tokens.
• session cookies.
• API secrets.
• database passwords.
• recovery codes; or
• other sensitive credentials

into Wover AI unless a particular secured feature expressly requires them.

If Hostwover introduces an AI memory or personalization feature, information may only be used for that functionality according to the settings, notices, consent mechanisms, and legal basis applicable at the time.

Where such functionality is optional, Hostwover may provide controls allowing users to:

• enable or disable it.
• manage relevant preferences.
• delete stored memory information; or
• withdraw applicable consent.

Hostwover will update this Policy where necessary if material AI data-processing functionality changes.

When you communicate with Hostwover through:

• customer support.

• support tickets.
• forms.
• live chat.
• Wover AI.
• telephone, where available.

• other authorized communication channels,

Where consent is required, marketing will be sent according to the consent you provided.

You may withdraw your marketing consent or unsubscribe through:

Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent Hostwover from sending necessary transactional, billing, security, legal, or Service-related communications.

Hostwover may process information to identify and investigate activity that may threaten customers, Hostwover, our infrastructure, payment systems, providers, or third parties.

Automated signals may cause a transaction or action to receive additional review or verification.

Where applicable law gives you rights concerning a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects, Hostwover will provide the protections required by that law.

Hostwover does not disclose Personal Data indiscriminately.

We may provide Personal Data to third parties where reasonably necessary to operate, protect, or provide our Services.

Domain Services require disclosure of certain registration information to relevant domain ecosystem participants.

For applicable generic top-level domains, the current ICANN Registration Data Policy became effective on August 21, 2025 and governs requirements concerning registration-data processing by contracted registrars and registries.

Hostwover may therefore transmit necessary domain-registration information to:

• the applicable Sponsoring Registrar.
• applicable registry operators.
• ICANN-related systems where required.
• escrow providers.
• verification providers; or
• other authorized domain-service participants.

Publication, redaction, access, or disclosure of registration information depends on applicable requirements rather than a general rule that all registrant information must be public.

Payment providers may receive information necessary to:

• initiate transactions.
• authorize payments.
• prevent fraud.
• identify transactions.
• process refunds.
• process recurring payments where authorized; and
• satisfy their own legal obligations.

Payment providers may act as independent controllers for certain processing activities.

Their own privacy policies may therefore apply to information they independently process.

If Hostwover undergoes:

• a merger.
• acquisition.
• restructuring.
• financing.
• sale of business.
• sale of assets.
• reorganization; or
• similar transaction,

Personal Data may be transferred where reasonably necessary as part of that transaction and where permitted by applicable law.

Appropriate confidentiality and data-protection requirements will continue to apply.

Hostwover seeks to assess requests for customer information according to applicable law before disclosure.

Hostwover provides technology Services that may involve providers, infrastructure, registrars, payment services, AI providers, email platforms, and other parties located in different countries.

Personal Data may therefore be processed outside Egypt or outside the country in which the customer resides.

Where cross-border processing is subject to legal restrictions, Hostwover will seek to implement the applicable legal mechanism, permit, authorization, contractual safeguard, consent process, or other required measure.

Egypt's current Executive Regulations include specific operational requirements concerning cross-border transfers, including information about the receiving destination, categories and volume of Personal Data, purpose, storage arrangements, protection measures, and retention periods.

Where GDPR requirements apply, Hostwover will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism where required.

Where applicable law requires certain Personal Data to be stored or processed within a specific jurisdiction, Hostwover will seek to comply with applicable data-localization obligations.

A customer's selection of a server or infrastructure location does not necessarily mean that every category of account, billing, support, monitoring, domain, or administrative information will be processed exclusively within that location.

Customers may use Hostwover's:

• Web Hosting.
• VPS.
• VDS.
• Professional Email.
• or other infrastructure Services

to process Personal Data belonging to their own:

• customers.
• employees.
• visitors.
• users.
• clients; or
• other individuals.

Where Hostwover processes such information only on behalf of the Hostwover customer, the customer generally determines the purposes of that processing.

The customer is responsible for:

• having an appropriate legal basis.
• providing required privacy notices.
• obtaining required consent.
• responding to Data Subject requests.
• configuring their applications securely.
• determining appropriate retention; and
• complying with privacy laws applicable to their own activities.

Hostwover may act as the customer's processor or service provider for relevant processing.

Hostwover generally does not have a direct relationship with individuals whose Personal Data is collected by a customer through a website, application, or Service hosted on Hostwover infrastructure.

If you are a visitor or customer of a Hostwover customer and want to:

• access your information.
• correct your information.
• delete your information.
• object to processing; or
• exercise another privacy right,

you should ordinarily contact the operator of the relevant website or Service.

Where legally and contractually appropriate, Hostwover may assist its customer in responding to such requests.

Hostwover does not intend to retain Personal Data indefinitely without purpose.

Retention periods depend on factors including:

• type of information.
• purpose of processing.
• duration of your Account.
• duration of a Service.
• contractual requirements.
• domain-registration requirements.
• payment and billing obligations.
• tax and accounting requirements.
• security needs.

• backup cycles; and
• dispute resolution.

Personal Data that is no longer reasonably required may be:

• deleted.
• anonymized.
• aggregated.
• securely destroyed; or
• otherwise removed from active use.

Closing your Hostwover Account does not necessarily cause every piece of information associated with the Account to be immediately destroyed.

We may retain information where reasonably necessary to:

• comply with law.
• maintain tax or accounting records.
• comply with domain requirements.
• resolve disputes.
• prevent fraud.
• investigate abuse.
• enforce agreements.
• protect Hostwover.
• protect customers.
• maintain security records; or
• establish or defend legal claims.

Information not subject to an ongoing legitimate retention requirement will be deleted or anonymized according to applicable retention procedures.

Deleted information may remain temporarily within protected backups until the applicable backup-retention cycle expires.

Backups are intended for security, continuity, and disaster-recovery purposes rather than ordinary continued use of deleted customer information.

Where reasonably possible, information deleted from active systems will not be restored into ordinary processing solely because an older backup contains a copy.

Hostwover maintains technical and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Data against:

• unauthorized access.
• unauthorized disclosure.
• unlawful processing.
• accidental loss.
• unauthorized alteration.
• misuse.
• destruction; and
• other security threats.

Controls may include, as appropriate:

• encrypted communications.
• authentication.
• access controls.
• password hashing.
• administrative restrictions.
• logging.
• monitoring.
• network protections.
• backups.
• vulnerability management.
• secure software-development practices.
• incident-response processes; and
• employee confidentiality requirements.

No Internet-connected service or storage system can provide an absolute guarantee against every security risk.

Hostwover maintains processes for investigating suspected Personal Data breaches.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

1. identify and verify the incident.
2. contain the incident.
3. determine affected systems and information.
4. assess potential consequences.
5. preserve relevant evidence.
6. remediate the vulnerability or cause.
7. notify appropriate internal personnel.
8. notify authorities where required.
9. notify affected individuals where required; and
10. implement corrective measures.

Under Egypt's current Executive Regulations, applicable breach procedures include notification requirements involving the Personal Data Protection Center and affected Data Subjects within prescribed periods.

Hostwover will follow the notification requirements applicable to the particular incident.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to Personal Data concerning you.

These may include the right to:

• know whether your Personal Data is being processed.
• access Personal Data concerning you.
• obtain information about processing.
• correct inaccurate Personal Data.
• complete incomplete Personal Data.
• request deletion where applicable.

Where Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law applies, Data Subjects may exercise the rights provided by that Law and its applicable Executive Regulations.

The current Executive Regulations establish operational requirements around consent, processing records, Data Subject requests, security, Personal Data Protection Officers, licensing, and international transfers.

Hostwover will process applicable rights requests according to the requirements in force at the time of the request.

Where GDPR applies to Hostwover's processing, you may have applicable rights including:

• rights concerning certain solely automated decisions.

The GDPR's application depends on its territorial and material scope rather than simply the nationality of Hostwover or the customer.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to reduce a mandatory right granted under applicable GDPR provisions.
