1. Introduction
Welcome to Hostwover.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hostwover's websites, accounts, platforms, products, infrastructure, applications, APIs, support systems, and Services.
Throughout these Terms:
- "Hostwover", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the Hostwover contracting entity identified through Hostwover's Legal Information.
- "Customer", "you", and "your" refer to the person or organization purchasing, accessing, or using the Services.
- "Account" means your Hostwover customer account.
- "Service" or "Services" means any product or service provided through Hostwover.
- "Content" means information, files, software, code, websites, databases, communications, media, or other material uploaded, hosted, transmitted, generated, or otherwise processed through a Service.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Hostwover when you accept them or otherwise use Services in circumstances where an agreement is formed under applicable law.
Please read them carefully.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
You accept these Terms when you perform an action that clearly indicates acceptance, including where applicable when you:
- create a Hostwover Account.
- select a checkbox accepting the Terms.
- submit an order.
- purchase a Service.
- activate a Service.
- renew a Service; or
- continue using a Service after being presented with applicable updated Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not purchase or use the Services.
Where applicable law requires a different form of consent or acceptance, Hostwover will apply the legally required process.
3. Electronic Agreement
Hostwover operates primarily through electronic systems.
You agree that, where legally permitted:
- contracts may be presented electronically.
- orders may be submitted electronically.
- acceptance may be recorded electronically.
- notices may be delivered electronically.
- invoices may be provided electronically; and
- electronic records may be retained as evidence of transactions and agreements.
Hostwover may maintain records including:
- Account identifiers.
- applicable agreement version.
- acceptance date and time.
- order information.
- IP information.
- transaction information; and
- other records reasonably necessary to demonstrate an electronic transaction.
Nothing in this section replaces any mandatory electronic-signature requirement that may apply to a particular transaction.

- Complaints & Dispute Resolution Policy; and
- additional terms displayed for a particular Service or order.
Together, these documents may form part of the agreement between you and Hostwover.
5. Order of Precedence
If different Hostwover documents contain conflicting terms, the following order will generally apply unless a document expressly states otherwise:
- mandatory applicable law.
- Service-specific terms agreed for the relevant order.
- applicable Service Agreement.
- these Terms of Service.
- applicable Hostwover policies.
For domain Services, mandatory registry, Sponsoring Registrar, ICANN, dispute-resolution, or other applicable domain-system requirements may also take precedence where required.
6. Eligibility
You must have the legal capacity required under applicable law to enter into an agreement for the Services you purchase.
If you use Hostwover on behalf of a company, organization, partnership, or another legal person, you represent that:
- you have authority to act on its behalf; and
- you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
If you do not have such authority, you must not enter into an agreement on its behalf.
7. Business Accounts
If an Account is created or used for a business or organization, the organization may be treated as the Customer where appropriate.
The organization is responsible for:
- authorized users.
- administrative access.
- employee use.
- Service configurations.
- payments.
- Content.
- compliance with these Terms; and
- activity performed through authorized organizational Accounts.
Disputes concerning authority to control a business Account may require additional verification.
8. Account Registration
Certain Services require a Hostwover Account.
You must provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your Account.
Information may include:
- name.
- email address.
- telephone number.
- country.
- organization information.
- billing information; and
- other information necessary to provide a Service.
Hostwover may require verification where reasonably necessary.
9. Account Information
You are responsible for keeping your Account information accurate and current.
Important Service, billing, security, domain, and legal communications may be sent using the contact information associated with your Account.
Hostwover is not responsible for consequences caused solely by your failure to maintain accurate contact information where Hostwover has otherwise acted reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
10. Account Security
You are responsible for protecting:
- your password.
- recovery email.
- authentication methods.
- multi-factor authentication devices.
- API credentials.
- access tokens.
- SSH keys.
- private keys.
- authorization codes; and
- other credentials associated with your Services.
You must not knowingly provide your Account credentials to unauthorized persons.
You must promptly notify Hostwover if you reasonably believe your Account or Services have been compromised.
11. Account Activity
You are generally responsible for activity performed through your Account by you or persons you authorize.
If you believe unauthorized activity has occurred, contact Hostwover immediately.
Hostwover may temporarily restrict sensitive actions while investigating a suspected compromise or ownership dispute.
12. Account Verification
Hostwover may request verification where reasonably necessary for purposes including:
- Account security.
- Account recovery.
- fraud prevention.
- payment verification.
- domain ownership.
- Service ownership.
- business authorization.
- abuse investigations.
- disputes.
- legal compliance; or
- protection of Hostwover and its customers.
Verification requirements will depend on the circumstances.
13. Our Services
Hostwover Services may include:
- domain registration and management.
- Professional Email.
- Web Hosting.
- VPS.
- VDS.
- Google Workspace.
- Wover AI.
- DNS-related Services.
- certificates or security products where offered.
- account-management functionality.
- technical support; and
- other digital or infrastructure Services introduced by Hostwover.
Not every Service or feature is available in every country or at all times.
14. Service Descriptions
Hostwover seeks to provide accurate descriptions of its Services.
Service specifications may include:
- storage.
- memory.
- CPU allocation.
- traffic.
- network capacity.
- region.
- software.
- mailbox limits.
- domain extension.
- billing period.
- subscription limits.
- technical functionality; or
- other characteristics.
Technical performance may vary depending on workload, software, network conditions, shared infrastructure, external providers, Internet routing, configuration, or other factors.
15. Third-Party Components
Some Hostwover Services depend on technology, infrastructure, software, networks, registries, platforms, or systems operated by third parties.
A third party may therefore participate in:
- provisioning.
- infrastructure.
- payments.
- domain registration.
- email delivery.
- productivity Services.
- AI functionality.
- monitoring.
- security.
- communications; or
- another part of a Service.
Relevant third-party terms may apply where necessary to provide that Service.
Hostwover remains responsible for its own obligations under these Terms and applicable law.
16. Orders
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted or successfully provisioned.
An order may require:
- successful payment.
- verification.
- fraud screening.
- availability confirmation.
- provider acceptance.
- registry confirmation.
- technical provisioning; or
- other necessary steps.
Hostwover may reject or cancel an order where there is a lawful and reasonable basis to do so.
17. Order Confirmation
A Service is considered successfully ordered when the applicable order process has been completed and Hostwover confirms the relevant status.
Different Services may have different provisioning stages, including:
- pending.
- processing.
- verification required.
- provisioning.
- active.
- failed.
- cancelled; or
- suspended.
Payment confirmation by itself does not always mean that provisioning has been completed.
18. Pricing
Hostwover displays pricing for Services through the relevant website, checkout, quotation, Account interface, or ordering process.
Pricing may depend on:
- Service.
- plan.
- billing period.
- currency.
- domain extension.
- geographic region.
- resource configuration.
- quantity.
- applicable promotion.
- tax; and
- other disclosed pricing factors.
The amount displayed for the final order before purchase will generally control, subject to obvious errors, fraud, premium-domain confirmation, or circumstances explained in these Terms.
19. Taxes
Prices may be subject to applicable:
- value-added tax.
- sales tax.
- withholding requirements.
- government charges; or
- other legally required taxes or fees.
Applicable taxes will be handled according to law and the information available for the transaction.
Where required, taxes may be added to the displayed Service price or separately identified during checkout.
20. Currency
Hostwover may support one or more currencies.
Currency conversion may be affected by:
- exchange rates.
- payment-provider conversion.
- card issuer conversion.
- taxes.
- banking fees; or
- currency changes.
Your bank, card issuer, wallet provider, or payment provider may apply charges independently of Hostwover.
21. Pricing Errors
Hostwover seeks to maintain accurate pricing, but technical or human errors may occasionally occur.
If a price is clearly erroneous, Hostwover may:
- correct the error.
- notify you.
- cancel the affected unfulfilled order; and
- refund an affected payment where appropriate.
Hostwover will not intentionally use pricing errors to mislead customers.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
22. Promotions
Promotional prices may:
- apply only to new purchases.
- apply only for a limited period.
- apply only to selected Services.
- require a particular billing term.
- exclude renewals.
- exclude premium domains.
- have usage restrictions; or
- be subject to additional disclosed conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a promotional initial price does not guarantee the same renewal price.
23. Payment
You agree to pay all properly disclosed charges associated with Services you order.
Hostwover may use third-party payment providers.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted for an order.
You must not knowingly:
- use stolen payment information.
- submit unauthorized payments.
- manipulate payment systems.
- conduct fraudulent transactions; or
- use payment instruments contrary to law.
24. Stored Payment Methods
Where functionality is available and legally permitted, payment credentials may be tokenized or otherwise maintained by an authorized payment provider to support:
- future purchases.
- recurring billing; or
- automatic renewal.
Hostwover does not intentionally require storage of complete card-security codes after authorization.
You may be able to remove or update eligible payment methods through your Account.
25. Recurring Billing
Some Services operate on recurring subscription periods.
Where you purchase a recurring Service and authorize recurring payment, Hostwover may charge the applicable payment method for subsequent renewal periods.
The applicable:
- billing period.
- renewal amount.
- renewal timing; and
- cancellation functionality
will be determined by the relevant Service and Account settings.
26. Automatic Renewal
Certain Services may support Auto-Renew.
When Auto-Renew is enabled, you authorize Hostwover to attempt renewal using an available authorized payment method.
Auto-Renew does not guarantee successful renewal.
Renewal may fail because of:
- payment failure.
- unavailable balance.
- expired payment method.
- payment-provider rejection.
- verification requirements.
- Service restrictions.
- price changes.
- technical problems.
- domain status; or
- circumstances outside Hostwover's reasonable control.
You remain responsible for monitoring important Service expiration dates.
27. Renewal Pricing
Renewal prices may differ from introductory or previous prices.
Hostwover may change renewal pricing for future billing periods.
Where reasonably required, updated pricing will be displayed or communicated before the relevant renewal in accordance with applicable law.
Continuing a renewable Service after an applicable price change constitutes acceptance of the new price where legally permitted and after any required notice.
28. Failed Payments
If payment fails, Hostwover may:
- retry the payment where authorized.
- notify you.
- place the Service in a payment-due status.
- restrict certain functionality.
- suspend the Service; or
- eventually terminate it
subject to the applicable Service terms and mandatory law.
Service-specific consequences may differ.
A failed domain renewal, for example, may have consequences different from a temporarily unpaid hosting subscription.
29. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a Hostwover transaction is incorrect, you should contact Hostwover promptly so we can investigate.
If a payment is reversed or disputed, Hostwover may reasonably investigate the transaction.
Where an unpaid or reversed payment relates directly to an active Service, Hostwover may restrict or suspend the affected Service where legally and contractually permitted.
Hostwover will not restrict Services merely to punish a customer for exercising a legitimate legal right.
Fraudulent chargebacks or knowingly false payment disputes are prohibited.
30. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by Hostwover's Refund Policy, the applicable Service Agreement, and mandatory law.
Different Services may have different refund conditions.
Certain transactions may become irreversible after provisioning, including some:
- domain registrations.
- domain renewals.
- domain transfers.
- domain restorations.
- activated licenses.
- third-party subscriptions; or
- customized or immediately provisioned digital Services.
Where a mandatory consumer right applies, nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy removes that right.
31. Service Cancellation
You may cancel eligible Services through the available Hostwover Account functionality or another provided cancellation method.
Cancellation may mean:
- disabling future renewal.
- terminating the Service immediately; or
- scheduling termination at the end of the paid period,
depending on the Service and your selected action.
Customers should review the cancellation confirmation carefully.
32. Cancellation Is Not Account Deletion
Cancelling a Service does not automatically:
- delete your Hostwover Account.
- delete all Personal Data.
- cancel other Services.
- cancel independent domain registrations.
- cancel Professional Email.
- cancel Google Workspace; or
- terminate another subscription.
Each Service must be managed according to its applicable terms.
33. Domain Services
Domain Services are subject to:
- these Terms.
- Registrar Information.
- Domain Registration Agreement.
- Domain Transfer Agreement.
- Domain Renewal & Expiration Agreement.
- Domain Dispute Policy.
- Domain Expiration & Recovery Policy.
- applicable registry requirements.
- applicable Sponsoring Registrar requirements.
- applicable ICANN policies; and
- applicable law.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate domain-registration information.
34. Domain Availability
A domain shown as available is not guaranteed to remain available until registration has been successfully completed.
A domain registration may fail because:
- another person registered it first.
- the registry rejects it.
- it is reserved.
- eligibility requirements are not met.
- it is a premium domain requiring different pricing.
- technical information was inaccurate; or
- another registration restriction applies.
Payment alone does not guarantee successful domain registration.
35. Domain Ownership
Domain ownership or registrant status is determined according to the applicable registration records and domain policies.
Purchasing or paying for a domain does not necessarily override registrant information.
Customers must ensure that the intended registered holder is correctly identified.
36. Domain Verification
You must respond to legitimate domain verification requests within applicable periods.
Failure to provide required verification may cause:
- suspension.
- hold.
- restriction.
- cancellation; or
- inability to perform certain domain operations.
Hostwover is not responsible for a domain interruption resulting solely from a customer's failure to complete a mandatory verification requirement after appropriate notice.
37. Domain Transfers
Domain transfers may be subject to:
- transfer locks.
- authorization codes.
- verification.
- registration age.
- previous transfer date.
- registrant changes.
- registry requirements.
- ICANN requirements; and
- other applicable restrictions.
Hostwover cannot override a mandatory transfer restriction.
38. Domain Renewal and Expiration
You are responsible for monitoring domain expiration dates.
Failure to renew a domain may result in:
- Service interruption.
- website unavailability.
- email disruption.
- expiration.
- redemption.
- additional recovery fees.
- deletion; and
- registration by another party.
Grace or redemption periods should not be relied upon as a substitute for timely renewal.
39. Domain Disputes
Domain names may be subject to:
- UDRP.
- URS.
- registry-specific policies.
- ccTLD dispute procedures.
- court proceedings.
- trademark disputes; or
- other applicable processes.
Hostwover may implement a binding decision or legal requirement concerning a domain.
Hostwover does not independently determine complex legal ownership disputes where a competent court or dispute-resolution body is required.
40. Web Hosting
Web Hosting Services may provide infrastructure and software for hosting websites and related applications.
Customers are responsible for:
- website Content.
- applications.
- CMS installations.
- plugins.
- themes.
- credentials.
- uploaded code.
- databases.
- user accounts.
- lawfulness of hosted Content; and
- maintaining software under their control.
Specific terms are provided in the Web Hosting Agreement.
41. VPS Services
VPS customers may receive significant administrative control over their server environment.
Unless expressly included as a managed feature, customers are responsible for matters including:
- operating-system configuration.
- security updates.
- firewalls.
- SSH configuration.
- installed applications.
- databases.
- user permissions.
- credentials.
- application security.
- data.
- backups; and
- system administration.
Additional terms are provided in the VPS Agreement.
42. VDS Services
VDS Services may provide dedicated or isolated resource allocations according to the applicable plan.
Customers remain responsible for software, workloads, administration, security, and Content within the customer-controlled environment unless the Service expressly states otherwise.
Specific terms are provided in the VDS Agreement.
43. Resource Allocation
Advertised infrastructure resources are provided according to the technical model of the relevant Service.
Certain terms such as:
- vCPU.
- RAM.
- storage.
- network speed.
- bandwidth.
- traffic.
- dedicated resources; or
- shared resources
have the technical meaning described for the relevant product.
A maximum network-port capacity does not guarantee that every workload will continuously achieve that maximum speed.
Actual performance may vary based on:
- location.
- Internet routing.
- congestion.
- workload.
- protocol overhead.
- remote endpoints.
- provider infrastructure; and
- other technical factors.
44. Resource Abuse
Customers must not use a Service in a way that intentionally or unreasonably harms:
- Hostwover infrastructure.
- network stability.
- other customers.
- external networks; or
- Service availability.
Hostwover may investigate abnormal or abusive resource consumption.
Where reasonably possible, Hostwover may contact the customer and provide an opportunity to correct the issue before taking restrictive action, except where immediate action is required to protect systems or third parties.
45. Backups
The availability and scope of backups depend on the Service purchased.
A Service should not be assumed to include backups unless the applicable plan or Service description expressly provides them.
Even when Hostwover provides backups, customers should maintain independent backups of important information appropriate to their own risk requirements.
No backup system is guaranteed to prevent every form of data loss.
46. Professional Email
Professional Email Services may be provided through dedicated email technology.
Customers are responsible for:
- mailbox users.
- passwords.
- lawful email use.
- spam compliance.
- mailbox Content.
- recipient consent where required.
- account configuration; and
- security of user credentials.
Customers must not use Professional Email for unlawful spam, phishing, malware distribution, credential theft, or other prohibited activities.
Additional terms are provided in the Professional Email Agreement.
47. Google Workspace
Google Workspace Services ordered through Hostwover may also be governed by applicable Google terms and requirements.
Customers acknowledge that Hostwover does not control every feature, availability decision, security control, product change, or policy of Google Workspace itself.
Customers are responsible for their:
- Workspace administrator Account.
- users.
- permissions.
- sharing configuration.
- Content.
- authentication settings; and
- lawful use of Google Workspace.
Additional terms are provided in the Google Workspace Agreement.
48. Wover AI
Wover AI provides artificial-intelligence-powered functionality intended to assist users with information, navigation, Hostwover Services, and supported tasks.
AI output may be generated automatically and may occasionally be:
- inaccurate.
- incomplete.
- outdated.
- ambiguous; or
- unsuitable for a particular purpose.
You remain responsible for evaluating AI-generated output before relying on or acting upon it.
49. Wover AI Is Not Professional Advice
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Wover AI does not provide regulated professional:
- legal advice.
- medical advice.
- financial advice.
- tax advice.
- accounting advice; or
- other professional advice requiring a licensed professional.
AI output should not be relied upon as a substitute for qualified professional advice where such advice is appropriate.
50. AI Security
Do not intentionally provide sensitive secrets through Wover AI unless a particular secure functionality expressly requires them.
This includes:
- passwords.
- private keys.
- complete payment-card numbers.
- CVV codes.
- API secrets.
- database credentials.
- recovery codes.
- authentication tokens; or
- session credentials.
Use of Wover AI is also subject to Hostwover's Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use requirements.
51. Customer Content
You retain your rights in Content you own.
Hostwover does not obtain ownership of your Content merely because it is stored or transmitted through a Hostwover Service.
You grant Hostwover the limited rights reasonably necessary to:
- host.
- store.
- transmit.
- copy.
- back up.
- process.
- display where requested by you; and
- otherwise technically handle
your Content for the purpose of providing, securing, supporting, or complying with legal obligations concerning the Service.
This permission ends when no longer necessary, subject to backups, legal retention, and applicable requirements.
52. Responsibility for Content
You are responsible for ensuring that Content you upload, host, publish, transmit, or process:
- is lawful.
- does not violate third-party rights.
- does not violate these Terms.
- does not violate the Acceptable Use Policy; and
- is processed with any permissions or consents required by law.
Hostwover does not become responsible for customer Content merely because infrastructure is used to store it.
53. Intellectual Property
Hostwover and its licensors retain their rights in Hostwover's:
- trademarks.
- logos.
- brand elements.
- website.
- software.
- interfaces.
- original documentation.
- designs.
- code.
- databases.
- graphics; and
- other protected materials.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Hostwover intellectual property to you.
54. Limited Permission to Use the Services
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable charges, Hostwover grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use purchased Services for their intended purposes.
You may not:
- copy proprietary Hostwover software except where authorized.
- bypass technical restrictions.
- reverse engineer protected components where prohibited by law.
- misuse Hostwover trademarks.
- impersonate Hostwover.
- claim ownership of Hostwover intellectual property; or
- use Hostwover systems in a manner prohibited by these Terms.
Rights that cannot legally be restricted remain unaffected.
55. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about Hostwover, you permit Hostwover to use that feedback to improve its products and Services without an obligation to compensate you, unless otherwise agreed.
This does not transfer ownership of unrelated confidential or proprietary material you provide.
56. Acceptable Use
All use of Hostwover Services is subject to Hostwover's Acceptable Use Policy and Acceptable Use Agreement.
Customers must not use Hostwover Services to conduct or facilitate unlawful or prohibited activities.
57. Prohibited Activities
Prohibited use may include, subject to the detailed Acceptable Use Policy:
- malware distribution.
- phishing.

- fraud.
- deceptive impersonation.
- illegal Content.
- intellectual-property infringement.
- distribution of stolen credentials.
- unauthorized cryptocurrency-mining activity where prohibited by Service terms.
- exploitation of third-party systems; or
- other harmful or unlawful conduct.
This list is not exhaustive.
58. Security Research
Security testing of Hostwover systems must comply with Hostwover's Responsible Disclosure Policy.
You may not conduct destructive or disruptive security testing without express authorization.
Prohibited conduct includes unauthorized:
- denial-of-service testing.
- data destruction.
- privacy invasion.
- social engineering.
- persistence.
- lateral movement.
- access to another customer's information; or
- degradation of production systems.
59. Abuse Reports
Hostwover may investigate credible reports of abuse involving its Services.
Investigations may involve:
- reviewing relevant technical information.
- contacting the customer.
- requesting remediation.
- restricting harmful activity.
- preserving evidence.
- communicating with appropriate providers; or
- complying with lawful authority requests.
Hostwover's procedures are further described in the Abuse Handling Policy.
60. Monitoring
Hostwover may monitor systems and technical information where reasonably necessary to:
- operate the Services.
- measure performance.
- secure infrastructure.
- identify fraud.
- detect malware.
- investigate abuse.
- enforce these Terms.
- respond to incidents; or
- comply with law.
Monitoring will be conducted in accordance with Hostwover's Privacy Policy and applicable law.
61. Service Suspension
Hostwover may suspend or restrict a Service where reasonably necessary because of:
- non-payment.
- security risk.
- Account compromise.
- fraud.
- abuse.
- prohibited Content.
- violation of applicable agreements.
- mandatory verification failure.
- legal requirement.
- court order.
- regulatory requirement.
- infrastructure protection.
- provider requirement that Hostwover is obligated to implement; or
- another serious contractual breach.
Hostwover will seek to use proportionate measures according to the circumstances.
62. Emergency Suspension
Hostwover may take immediate action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to:
- stop an active cyberattack.
- contain malware.
- stop phishing.
- prevent material infrastructure damage.
- prevent significant harm to another customer.
- stop ongoing fraud.
- protect compromised credentials.
- respond to an emergency legal obligation; or
- address another urgent security threat.
Where appropriate, Hostwover may provide information about the action after the immediate risk has been addressed.
63. Suspension Is Not Termination
Suspension may temporarily restrict access without immediately terminating the applicable Service.
During a suspension:
- charges may continue where the Service remains allocated.
- data may remain stored.
- renewal dates may continue.
- certain administrative functions may remain available; and
- remediation may be required.
The precise effect depends on the Service and reason for suspension.
64. Termination by the Customer
You may terminate eligible Services using available cancellation functionality.
Termination does not remove obligations arising before termination, including:
- outstanding payments.
- abuse liability.
- legal obligations.
- domain obligations; or
- obligations intended to survive termination.
65. Termination by Hostwover
Hostwover may terminate a Service or Account where permitted by law and reasonably justified, including for:
- material breach of these Terms.
- repeated violations.
- serious abuse.
- fraud.
- unlawful activity.
- non-payment.
- persistent security risk.
- false or fraudulent Account information.
- mandatory provider or registry action.
- legal requirement; or
- circumstances making continued provision unlawful.
Where appropriate and practical, Hostwover may provide notice or an opportunity to remedy the violation before termination.
66. Effect of Termination
After termination:
- access to the affected Service may stop.
- allocated infrastructure may be released.
- hosted websites may become unavailable.
- email may stop functioning.
- applications may stop running.
- IP addresses may be reassigned.
- stored data may become unavailable; and
- associated functionality may cease.
Customers are responsible for exporting important data before termination where possible.
67. Data After Termination
Hostwover may delete or release customer data after Service termination according to:
- the applicable Service Agreement.
- retention procedures.
- Privacy Policy.
- backup lifecycle.
- legal requirements; and
- technical processes.
You should not assume that Hostwover will indefinitely preserve Content after termination.
Where data remains temporarily available, this does not create an obligation to retain it indefinitely.
68. Account Closure
Closing a Hostwover Account may require cancellation or transfer of active Services first.
Hostwover may prevent immediate Account closure where necessary to address:
- active subscriptions.
- unpaid balances.
- active domains.
- disputes.
- security incidents.
- fraud investigations.
- legal obligations; or
- ownership issues.
Personal Data associated with a closed Account is handled according to the Privacy Policy.
69. Support
Hostwover provides customer support according to the applicable Service and Customer Service Policy.
Support may include assistance with:
- Account issues.
- billing.
- provisioning.
- domain management.
- Service availability.
- technical configuration within supported scope; and
- troubleshooting.
Unless expressly included in a managed Service, support does not mean that Hostwover is responsible for administering all customer-controlled software.
70. Support Boundaries
Hostwover may be unable to provide support for matters outside our reasonable control or Service scope, including:
- unsupported third-party applications.
- custom customer code.
- obsolete software.
- external networks.
- customer devices.
- unsupported operating systems.
- third-party APIs; or
- unauthorized modifications.
Hostwover may nevertheless provide reasonable guidance where possible.
71. Maintenance
Hostwover may perform:
- scheduled maintenance.
- emergency maintenance.
- security updates.
- infrastructure upgrades.
- database maintenance.
- network changes; or
- other operational work.
Where practical, Hostwover may provide advance notice of maintenance expected to materially affect Service availability.
Emergency maintenance may occur without advance notice when necessary to protect security or availability.
72. Service Availability
Hostwover seeks to provide reliable Services but does not promise uninterrupted availability unless an applicable Service Level Agreement expressly provides a specific commitment.
Services may be affected by:
- maintenance.
- software defects.
- cyberattacks.
- DDoS attacks.
- upstream network issues.
- data-center incidents.
- DNS failures.
- Internet routing.
- third-party outages.
- power events.
- hardware failure.
- natural disasters; or
- other circumstances.
Any applicable availability commitment or Service credit is governed by the Service Level Agreement.
73. Beta and Experimental Features
Hostwover may make beta, preview, experimental, or early-access functionality available.
Such features may:
- change.
- contain errors.
- be incomplete.
- have limited support.
- be discontinued; or
- operate differently from generally available Services.
Where clearly identified as beta or experimental, you should not rely on such functionality for critical workloads unless you accept the associated risk.
74. Privacy
Hostwover processes Personal Data according to its Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.
Use of a Service may require processing information for purposes including:
- Account creation.
- provisioning.
- payment.
- security.
- fraud prevention.
- support.
- domain registration.
- communications; and
- legal compliance.
You should review the Privacy Policy before using Hostwover.
75. Customer Personal Data
Where you use Hostwover infrastructure to process Personal Data belonging to your own users, customers, visitors, employees, or other individuals, you are responsible for determining your legal obligations concerning that processing.
Where applicable, Hostwover may act as a processor or service provider on your behalf.
Additional data-processing terms may apply.
76. Information Security
Hostwover uses security measures designed to protect information and systems.
Security is nevertheless a shared responsibility.
You are responsible for securing matters under your control, including:
- passwords.
- VPS/VDS configuration.
- website applications.
- APIs.
- SSH keys.
- databases.
- user accounts.
- software updates; and
- customer-controlled backups.
See the Information Security Policy for additional information.
77. Confidential Information
During the course of providing Services, either party may receive confidential information from the other.
Where information is clearly confidential or reasonably should be understood as confidential, the receiving party should use it only for legitimate purposes connected with the relationship and protect it using reasonable measures.
This does not apply to information that:
- is already lawfully public.
- becomes public without breach.
- was independently developed.
- was lawfully received from another source; or
- must be disclosed by law.
78. Third-Party Websites
Hostwover may link to third-party websites or Services.
A link does not mean Hostwover controls or endorses every aspect of that third party.
Independent third-party terms and privacy policies may apply.
Hostwover is not responsible for third-party websites outside its control except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
79. Compliance With Law
You must use Hostwover Services in accordance with applicable law.
You must not use Hostwover to intentionally evade legal restrictions that validly apply to you or your activities.
You are responsible for determining legal requirements applicable to your own Content and business.
80. Sanctions and Restricted Transactions
Hostwover may be required to restrict transactions or Services where applicable sanctions, export-control rules, court orders, payment restrictions, or other binding legal requirements prohibit providing the relevant Service.
Hostwover will apply such restrictions only where legally required or otherwise lawfully justified.
81. Law-Enforcement Requests
Hostwover may respond to valid legal requests from competent authorities where required by applicable law.
Hostwover does not voluntarily disclose customer information merely because an individual claims to represent an authority.
Requests may be reviewed for appropriate legal validity before disclosure.
82. Intellectual-Property Complaints
Hostwover may respond to credible allegations that Content or domain use infringes intellectual-property rights.
The process is described in Hostwover's Trademark & Copyright Policy and applicable domain-dispute procedures.
Submitting a complaint does not automatically establish infringement.
Hostwover may require appropriate supporting information.
83. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Services are provided on an "as available" basis according to the specifications and commitments expressly applicable to the purchased Service.
Hostwover does not guarantee that:
- every Service will be uninterrupted.
- every software defect will be eliminated.
- every security threat can be prevented.
- every domain will remain available before registration completes.
- every backup will recover every piece of data.
- every third-party platform will remain unchanged; or
- every AI-generated response will be correct.
Nothing in this section excludes an express warranty or mandatory legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
84. No Absolute Security Guarantee
Hostwover applies reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute protection against:
- all cyberattacks.
- zero-day vulnerabilities.
- customer credential compromise.
- Internet-wide failures.
- malicious third parties.
- customer misconfiguration; or
- events outside reasonable control.
This does not reduce Hostwover's mandatory security obligations under applicable law.
85. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Subject to that rule, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Hostwover will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely speculative losses arising from the Services where such exclusion is legally permitted.
This may include losses relating to:
- lost profits.
- lost opportunity.
- indirect business interruption.
- indirect loss of goodwill; or
- consequential losses
to the extent such losses are legally excludable.
86. Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hostwover's aggregate contractual liability arising from an affected paid Service will not exceed the amount paid by the Customer to Hostwover for that affected Service during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
If the affected Service has existed for less than twelve months, the relevant amount will be the amount actually paid for that Service during that shorter period.
This limitation does not apply where such limitation is prohibited by law, including where applicable to liability arising from:
- fraud.
- wilful misconduct.
- gross negligence where liability cannot be limited.
- death or personal injury caused by conduct for which liability cannot be excluded; or
- mandatory consumer-protection obligations.
87. Customer-Controlled Systems
Hostwover is not responsible for loss caused exclusively by customer actions or systems outside Hostwover's control, including:
- insecure customer passwords.
- unpatched customer software.
- insecure customer code.
- accidental deletion by the customer.
- customer DNS misconfiguration.
- compromised customer devices.
- unauthorized disclosure of credentials.
- customer-installed malware; or
- incorrect commands executed with administrative privileges.
This provision does not apply where Hostwover itself is legally responsible for the relevant loss.
88. Customer Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Hostwover harmless from third-party claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising directly from:
- unlawful Customer Content.
- infringement caused by Customer Content.
- your intentional misuse of the Services.
- fraud committed through your Account.
- your violation of applicable law; or
- a material breach of these Terms
where the relevant harm is attributable to you.
Hostwover will not seek indemnification from a consumer where such indemnification would violate mandatory consumer law.
89. Force Majeure
Neither party will be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control where applicable law recognizes such excuse.
Events may include:
- natural disasters.
- war.
- terrorism.
- civil disturbance.
- widespread Internet failure.
- government action.
- major telecommunications failure.
- power-grid failure.
- extraordinary cyberattacks.
- data-center emergencies.
- labor disruption; or
- other comparable events.
The affected party should take reasonable steps to reduce the impact where possible.
Payment obligations for already-delivered Services are not automatically cancelled by a force-majeure event unless required by law or otherwise agreed.
90. Changes to Services
Hostwover may modify Services to:
- improve functionality.
- improve security.
- respond to technical changes.
- replace obsolete technology.
- comply with law.
- respond to provider changes.
- improve performance; or
- introduce new functionality.
Hostwover will seek not to materially reduce a paid Service during its current paid period without an appropriate reason or remedy.
Material changes will be handled according to applicable law and Service terms.
91. Discontinuation of a Service
Hostwover may discontinue a Service where reasonably necessary.
Where a paid Service is materially discontinued before the end of its prepaid term for reasons not caused by Customer breach, Hostwover may, as appropriate:
- provide migration.
- provide a substitute.
- provide notice.
- provide a prorated remedy; or
- provide another legally appropriate solution.
The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
92. Changes to These Terms
Hostwover may update these Terms to reflect:
- Service changes.
- legal developments.
- regulatory requirements.
- new products.
- security requirements.
- operational changes; or
- clarification of existing terms.
The updated version will display a new Last Updated date.
Where a material change requires notice, Hostwover may notify affected customers through:
- email.
- Account notification.
- website notice; or
- another appropriate method.
Where applicable law requires explicit acceptance of a change, Hostwover will seek that acceptance.
93. Notices
Hostwover may send contractual or operational notices using:
- your Account email.
- Account notifications.
- Service notifications.
- website notices; or
- another communication channel associated with the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate Account contact information.
94. Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding Hostwover or a Service, contact Hostwover first so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
Complaints may concern:
- billing.
- Services.
- domains.
- support.
- suspension.
- Account access.
- privacy.
- security; or
- another Hostwover matter.
Additional procedures are provided in Complaints & Dispute Resolution.
95. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, waive, or reduce a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Where you qualify as a consumer and mandatory consumer-protection law provides stronger rights than these Terms, the mandatory legal rights will prevail.
This may include applicable rights concerning:
- accurate Service information.
- transparent pricing.
- unfair commercial practices.
- refunds or remedies.
- complaints; and
- dispute resolution.
96. Governing Law
Subject to mandatory legal protections that may apply based on your circumstances, these Terms and the contractual relationship with Hostwover are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, unless an applicable Service Agreement or Hostwover Legal Information expressly identifies another governing law for the relevant contracting entity.
This provision does not remove mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law.
97. Dispute Resolution
Before commencing formal legal proceedings, you and Hostwover should, where reasonably appropriate, attempt to resolve a dispute through Hostwover's complaints process.
A party may submit written details of the dispute and supporting information.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may exercise available legal rights before the competent court, authority, regulator, or dispute-resolution body according to applicable law.
Domain disputes may be subject to specialized procedures such as UDRP, URS, registry procedures, or other applicable domain-dispute mechanisms.
98. No Waiver of Regulatory Rights
Nothing in these Terms prevents a person from:
- contacting a competent consumer authority.
- contacting a data-protection authority.
- reporting suspected crime.
- cooperating with lawful authorities.
- exercising mandatory statutory rights; or
- using another legally protected complaint procedure.
99. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary where legally possible.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply unless the invalid provision is essential to the agreement and applicable law requires another result.
100. No Waiver
If Hostwover does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not necessarily mean Hostwover permanently waives the right to enforce it.
A waiver is effective only to the extent legally valid and applicable to the circumstances in which it was given.
101. Assignment
You may not transfer your contractual rights or obligations under these Terms to another person without Hostwover's approval where such approval is reasonably required.
This does not prevent valid domain transfers or ownership changes performed through applicable procedures.
Hostwover may assign or transfer its rights and obligations as part of:
- corporate restructuring.
- acquisition.
- merger.
- business transfer; or
- similar transaction
subject to applicable law and protection of customer rights.
102. No Partnership or Agency
These Terms do not create a:
- partnership.
- employment relationship.
- joint venture.
- fiduciary relationship; or
- agency relationship
between Hostwover and the Customer merely because the Customer uses Hostwover Services.
103. Entire Agreement
These Terms together with the applicable:
- order.
- Service Agreement.
- policies.
- Service description; and
- expressly incorporated additional terms
constitute the agreement relating to the relevant Hostwover Service.
They replace prior representations concerning that Service to the extent permitted by law and except where expressly preserved in writing.
104. Language
Hostwover may provide legal documents in more than one language.
Translations are intended to make the documents easier for customers to understand.
Where different language versions conflict, the controlling language will be determined by the applicable agreement and law.
Nothing in this section limits language rights that are mandatory under applicable consumer law.
105. Headings
Section headings are provided for convenience and do not independently change the meaning of these Terms.
106. Survival
Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination may survive termination.
These may include provisions concerning:
- unpaid fees.
- intellectual property.
- confidentiality.
- liability.
- indemnification where valid.
- disputes.
- evidence.
- legal compliance; and
- obligations relating to conduct occurring before termination.
